Beach Yorkies Puppy Contract
This is to protect you, the puppy and the breeder. By signing this contact, the purchaser understands that Beach Yorkies cannot absolutely guarantee the size or disposition of a dog. 1.) We do not guarantee against a dog that develops hypoglycemia, retained baby teeth, hernias, loose knees (patella), or the ability to reproduce. 2.)The purchaser agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 business hours. A copy of the exam must be mailed to Beach Yorkies and post marked within 72 hours of the vet's exam. 3.) We guarantee against life threatening congenital defects limited to heart, liver and kidney (non- treatable condition only) before the age of one only. If one is found or in case of death an autopsy must be preformed by a registered vet at owner’s expense. Results must be provided to seller immediately. These results will also be reviewed by my vet. This autopsy report must include proof of the identification of the dog by a photo and all vet records to date. If an autopsy is not performed, then this guarantee is no longer valid and the dog will not be replaced. Replacement pup will be the first available of the same value, as soon as one is available. 4.) It is impossible to determine each young puppy's exact adult weight, sizes are our best estimated guess of what we feel each puppy will be based on the Dam & Sire weight, and their size at time of sale. 5.) No refunds. 6.) Buyer agrees that dog will live inside the Buyer's home and will not be housed outside for any length of time. 7.) Buyer agrees dog will be socialized and treated as one of the family. 8.) Once seller releases a dog, seller is not responsible for any infection, allergies, illness, behavioral problems or accidental injuries that may occur. 9.) This guarantee is not transferable. 10.) The buyer agrees that the puppy will never be placed in a shelter, within a rescue program, or sold to a broker, pet shop or puppy breeder. 11.) If the buyer is unable to keep the puppy, the buyer is required to contact Beach Yorkies before disposing of the puppy. 12.) This contract must be signed and received prior to taking possession of any dog, if not, there is no guarantee for the said puppy. Deposit: Yorkshire Terrier will be held only if a $500.00 deposit has been received, and is still for adoption. Full payment must be made 7 days before Yorkshire Terrier leaves Seller's possession. If you do not take possession of the Yorkshire Terrier by 10 weeks of age (12 weeks if being shipped) the Yorkshire Terrier will go back for adoption and you will loose your $500 deposit. If you decide you cannot adopt the Yorkshire Terrier, $500.00 of the deposit will be non-refunded and the Yorkshire Terrier will go back up for adoption. Registration: Seller agrees that the Yorkshire Terrier is registered, it will be registered (or recorded) with the American Kennel Club of America (AKC).
